These Terms of Use govern your use of oiriunu.com and oiriunu.org (collectively, “the Sites”), operated by Kronco Realty Inc., a New York corporation doing business as Oiriunu. By using the Sites you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Sites.
1. What Oiriunu is
Oiriunu is an informational resource. We help homeowners understand flood risk, explore flood protection solutions, and connect with vetted local contractors. We are not a licensed contractor, engineer, or financial advisor, and nothing on the Sites should be treated as professional advice specific to your property or situation.
Always consult a qualified professional before making decisions about your home.
2. Use of the Sites
You may use the Sites for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:
- Copy, reproduce, or republish our content without written permission
- Use the Sites in any way that could damage, disable, or impair them
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Sites or our systems
- Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to extract content from the Sites
3. Accuracy of information
We work hard to keep our content accurate and up to date, but we make no guarantees. Flood risk data, product information, contractor availability, and pricing can change. Use the information on our Sites as a starting point, not a final answer.
Oiriunu is not liable for any decisions made based on content found on the Sites.
4. Affiliate and commercial relationships
We earn revenue through product affiliate links, contractor lead fees, and revenue share arrangements. These relationships are explained in full on our Affiliate Disclosure page. Commercial relationships do not influence our editorial recommendations.
5. Third-party links and contractors
The Sites link to third-party products, retailers, and contractors. We do not control those third parties and are not responsible for their content, products, services, or conduct. Connecting with a contractor through oiriunu.com does not create any guarantee of their work or any liability on our part.
Contractor vetting is based on information available at the time of listing. We recommend you independently verify licenses, insurance, and references before hiring anyone.
6. Analytics and tracking
We use third-party tools including Google Site Kit, Jetpack, and Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use the Sites. These tools may collect anonymized usage data such as pages visited, time on site, and general location. No personally identifiable information is collected through these tools without your knowledge.
For full details on data collection see our Privacy Policy.
7. Comments
The Sites may allow visitors to leave comments. By submitting a comment you grant Oiriunu a non-exclusive right to display that comment on the Sites. We reserve the right to remove any comment at our discretion, including comments that are spam, offensive, or off-topic. Do not include personal or sensitive information in comments.
8. Intellectual property
All content on the Sites — including text, graphics, logos, and code — is owned by Oiriunu LLC or its licensors and is protected by copyright. You may not reproduce or distribute our content without written permission.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
The Sites are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Sites will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kronco Realty Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Sites, including property damage, financial loss, or reliance on contractor recommendations.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms of Use at any time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Sites after any change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict of law principles.
